Durand Tonearms was at the 2012 CES and T.H.E. Show, January 10-13. The Talea II was playing in two rooms:
- CES, in the Venetian Hotel; Room 29-133, on a Palmer 2.5 Turntable, with the Jan Allaerts MC1B MKII cartridge, courtesy of Sonare Coeli, in conjunction with Estelon / Alfred & Partners.
Equipment also included Estelon speakers, Concert Fidelity amplification, Kubala Sosan cables, Running Springs power conditioners.
The Talea in the Estelon / Alfred & Partners room at CES:
- T.H.E. Show, in the Flamingo Hotel: Valley of Fire Boardroom, the Lotus Group will have a Talea II on a Hanss T-60 turntable (with Hanss rack), with the Lyra Olympos cartridge.
Equipment also included Lotus Group Granada G2 speakers, SMc Audio VRE-1C Remote Controller Amplifier, WAVAC electronics (HE-833MkII, MD-805Mk-II amplifiers; PR-T1 preamplifier; LCR-X2 Phono Equalizer Amplifiers), PranaWire cables.

Durand Tonearms received the Audio Oasis award from Positive Feedback Online, for its contribution in the Blue LightAudio room at 2011 T.H.E. Show in Newport Beach! The Talea™ II was mounted on a Wave Kinetics NVS turntable, with an Ortofon MC A90 cartridge doing groove duty.

October 2010:
The 2nd generation Talea™ was introduced at the 2010 RMAF in Denver. It was on display in the Galibier and Deadalus suites, as well as in the TT Weights Audio room. This new version includes features that some of you have requested: an arm rest, and a different, more ergonomic system for tightening the VTA tower, as well as several other improvements. There are numerous changes in materials in the arm base, as well as for the armwand.
